Derek Holt.
Founder member of Climax Blues Band, formed in 1968, recorded over twenty albums, had hits with Couldn’t Get It Right and I Love You which were both Top Five in the charts worldwide. Derek has performed in venues such as The Albert Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, to name a few. Biggest audience was At Soldier Field in Chicago playing in front of 120,000 people. Has played bass guitar for people such as Chuck Berry, Stewart Copeland, Leslie West, Alvin Lee. Was Managed by Miles Copeland (manager of The Police).Has been in the music business for almost 40 years and is a seasoned professional.
Dave Day
Multi –instrumentalist and vocalist, Dave was born in Stoke on Trent and has played in numerous band in the area. Has a vast repertoire of songs, plays wonderful guitar and is highly respected on the circuit. Apart from being a musician currently runs his own tour managing/production company working with such acts as Paulo Nuteni, Christine Aguilera, Tony Christie, Blue, Girls Aloud, Guns and Roses, to name but a few.
Colin Brown
Multi Instrumentalist, main instruments being keyboards and vocals. Currently tours with Barclay James Harvest and is a highly respected session musician, has a vast repertoire of songs from soul to rock and has an incredible voice. A musical genius in every respect.
John Cuffley
Founder member of Emile Ford and The Checkmates, member of Climax Blues Band has had a long and diverse career as a drummer. Plays any style from Jazz, to Funk, from Rock and Roll to fusion. Has played with many great acts over the years. Continues to play like the true professional he is.
The band can be expanded to five or six people adding saxophone or an extra guitar depending on budget and music requirements.
Repertoire, selections of classic songs from bands like the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Eagles, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Free, Steely Dan, Bad Company, Paul Carrick, Blues Brothers, Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry. Kinks, Lynnyrd Skynnyrd, Roy Orbison, to name a few.
