Mariachi Mexteca Duo or Trio is an authentic ensemble of professional Mexican musicians and singers also bringing together artists from the Americas.
The name MEXTECA for the band came from a fusion of old and new with a play on the words "Mexico and Azteca".
Mexteca maintains the unique traditional style of the original Mariachi and have proudly presented the vibrant and cheerful sound to audiences throughout the United Kingdom.The director of Mariachi MEXTECA, Salvador Jimenez Hernandez is a professional and experienced musician from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and has devoted his life to music following in the footsteps of his father and forefathers.
