This six piece sensation is guaranteed to add the life and soul to your party, event or wedding.
The Classique Band's male and female vocalists cover hits and favorites from every decade of pop and soul music. The music and vocals are all performed totally live, and the band's personnel consists of the some of the UK's top professional instrumentalists.
Classique Band, as Vince Miller recently said, are "the best band on the circuit". You can expect an infectious mix of dance floor filling classics from the 60s through to the present day. The Classique Band is all about authenticity; everything is live, there are no dodgy backing tracks or karaoke type dubbed vocals or instrumentation.
You will get great songs delivered by 2 dynamic lead singers, 5 part harmonies top class musicianship all delivered with energy and enthusiasm through a digitally mixed full range PA system with a full light show.
The band was originally formed in 2001 under the name Solar Power which was a 5 piece Soul / Disco Band - which still performs in midweek gigs. During 2004 Emma joined and provided the extra dimension and a wider range of repertoire.
For 2006 The Classique Band have decided to offer zany spoof ridden 70s / 80s party nights with vintage clothing and crazy antics.
As most of our weekend work is at private functions we try to set up regular midweek showcase gigs at smaller venues where they can seen.
