Over the past year, the Hope girls have been busy planning their assault. Having now finished X Factor duties (post the Live Tour where they joined the likes of Leon Jackson, Rhydian Roberts and Same Difference), the girls were rediscovered by veteran music agency, (who look after music’s hall of fame, with clients including Madonna to the Rolling Stones), who immediately booked them as support for the UK’s biggest boyband Westlife on their arena tour across the UK. Unsurprisingly the girls received a rapturous welcome.

His hirsute appearance has not only made him popular with the ladies but it’s apparently also earned him the nickname of ‘Hairy Angel II’ He is the son of a Guyana father and an English mother.

Journey South are a musical duo originating from Middlesbrough, England, consisting of brothers Carl and Andy Pemberton. They initially performed in pubs and clubs throughout Great Britain for over eight years prior to achieving third place fame on the British television talent show, The X Factor in 2005. The duo have stated that Bon Jovi, U2 and Mary J Blige have been influences for their work.

They are the first of this year's X Factor final 12 to become available for appearances.The girls say they chose their name because Candy is bad for you but you always want more and rain because they leave a lasting impression.

Nervous 16 year old Lloyd has only ever performed in school plays but after being stopped by the judges, he managed to go on and win over both them and the audience and convince them that he was worthy of a place in the X Factor. Predicted to be a favourite contestant, Lloyd is just one of the Welsh contestants this series, with web sites and forums all over the internet flooded with messages of support for Lloyd!

Laura White

At 17years old Laura won a radio competition where she got chance to sing in front of an audience of 15,000 people when Peter Kay switched on the christmas lights in Bolton. Laura started writing her own music and singing her own songs and afterr recieving good feedback decided to enter X Factor.

Niki Evans

As one of the most successful artists to emerge from XFactor, Niki has since performed with John Barrowman at the Symphony Hall, has sang alongside Kim Wylde and Heather Small at a concert in Dubai, and appeared as a special request of Jasper Carrott on his Christmas Rock With Laughter show at the NEC and has made countless appearances on TV, including LK Today and ITV’s This Morning with Phillip Schofield and Fearne Briton, as well as numerous interviews on radio and in press.

Rhydian

Simon Cowell gave rugby-loving Rhydian Roberts a record deal when The X Factor ended. Rhydian joined The X Factor Live Tour before spending time in Sweden, Nashville and L.A. where he worked with top producers including Walter A and Desmond Child. Rhydian has performed in a string of summer shows including a charity gig in Norwich where he met HRH Prince Charles. Rhydian is putting the finishing touches to his debut album which is due out in the autumn.

She first came into the public eye when she appeared on the first show of X Factor Live Auditions shocking everyone with an angelic rendition of Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World. “I’m rarely surprised, but I have to be completely honest with you, that performance took me by surprise. I think you are really, really good.” replied Simon Cowell Just as surprised was X Factor Judge Cheryl Cole telling Stacey:”I don’t know why I had a pre-conceived idea but I didn’t think it would be that good. Thank you.”
